The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.

Student Organization: Aviation Maintenance Club
|Description||The purpose of the Aviation Maintenance Club is to provide an arena where individuals interested in aviation and aviation maintenance can get together and share their common interests in a social setting. We foster and promote a high degree of professionalism among aviation maintenance students and promote our new skills as future aviation maintenance professionals. Our activities include guest speakers, field trips to aviation maintenance facilities, demonstration lectures, fund drives, and social events. Some of the social events include outings to local airports and EAA fly-ins.
