The members of NMU student organizations sponsor almost 300 campus-wide programs and events every year in addition to the hundreds of group activities. These same students volunteer thousands of hours of service annually to local communities. In the process, the student organizations that register at Northern Michigan University every year provide thousands of students with fun, friendships, memories, and educational experiences that cannot be found in the classroom.
Efforts put forth by student organizations are recognized annually at the Leadership Recognition Banquet.

Student Organization: Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club
|Description||The Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club is an organization open to all students interested in animals or those eventually applying to veterinary school. Our main objective is to broaden our horizons in the areas of veterinary science. To do this, we have guest speakers at our meetings and participate in different animal related events and volunteer projects. We take an annual trip to the local zoo and raise funds for local charities such as Piper's Place, Sally's Fund, and UPAWS. We try and excel in community service, and are always looking for new members. We would love to see you at one of our meetings! For more information, email email@example.com.|
