||The National Student Speech, Language, Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is an organization that is active in campus activities and throughout the local community. NSSLHA's main mission is to provide the students in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) major and minor with the opportunity to work with a variety of different cultures and ages and to meet others in the major/minor. We have meetings biweekly throughout the school year. NSSLHA students participate in Story Hour at the Peter White Public Library, Make a Difference Day, MS Walk, Big Brother/Sister Lunch Buddies, Norlite Nursing Home, and many more fun community service activities. NSSLHA assists the SLHS Department with Majors Fair in the fall semester and the Health Fair in the winter semester. Students also assist the Speech and Hearing Clinic in various activities throughout the semesters. Additionally, we partake in professional development through attending conferences, practicing interview skills and preparing for graduate school. We enjoy meeting new people and reaching out to those in need. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
