Homecoming Schedule

**Events and times listed below are tentative. Updated Homecoming information will be posted as it becomes available.
The events below are not part of the Nursing Celebration registration. The NMU Barnes and Noble bookstore in the Northern Center will be open Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, September 20

Historical display of nursing photos and equipment - Beaumier Heritage Center located in the central lobby area of Gries Hall.

5:30-6 p.m.




 
Homecoming Parade – Student Nurses Association (SNA) golf cart with a "Bon Voyage" theme. There will also be a Race for RP race car in the parade with the School of Nursing logo. Nursing alumni are welcome to participate and walk in the parade. Join the parade staging behind the Superior Dome near Lakeshore Boulevard.
(inclement weather date is Saturday at 11 a.m.)
Fair Avenue to Third Street (going south), then Hewitt Street and Front Street back to staging area.

Saturday, September 21

Tailgate Party (for Student Nurses and Alumni-look for the School of Nursing tent)
We will have complimentary Togo's sub sandwiches, chips, cookies and sparkling water

Homecoming Football Game
(vs. Davenport, purchase tickets at EZ Tickets, use promo code NURSE for reduced ticket price of $8)

5th Quarter Reception (open to all alumni, look for the nursing sign/table)

NMU Green and Gold Gala (fundraising dinner to endow the Student Flexible Aid Fund at $100,000 and provide students with emergency aid for years to come - requires ticket purchase before Tuesday, 9/10)
