Shirley A. Brozzo -

Shirley has been with the Multicultural Center since 1994 and holds a master of fine arts degree in creative writing. She is a contingent professor with the Center for Native American Studies. Originally from Ironwood, Shirley relocated to the Marquette area in 1989.  She has six children and nine grandchildren.  In her spare time she likes to knit/crochet, read, cook, or watch How to Get Away with Murder. 


Rena GregorichRena Gregorich -

Rena is originally from Gwinn, Michigan.  She holds her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lake Superior State University.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, movies, traveling, fourwheeling, volunteering, and family time (Especially with her 2 young children, Karson and Lillian).

Madeline is a senior this year at NMU with a major in Communications and a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is from Gladstone, Michigan and loves Fall in the U.P. Madeline hopes to be a transgender advocate while using her small town experience as an inspiration to trans youth. In her free time, she loves to kayak and binge watch Orange is the New Black.

Ravyn is a junior at NMU majoring in Social Work with a minor in human behavior. She is from Springhill, Florida and enjoys going to the beach, volunteering and watching movies. She loves sour patch kids, Beyonce and people. Ravyn is a first generation student and has a blended family of eight siblings. She continues to work at the MERC because she loves the environment of the office and the people who are constantly in it. 



Daniel Putman-

Dan is a senior studying Industrial Technologies with a minor in Alternative Energies. He is from Rochester Hills, MI. Some of his hobbies are hiking, camping, swimming and skiing. He enjoys being social by participating in clubs, activities, spending time with friends, family and meeting new people. Dan enjoys working at the MERC because it provides a good service to the students and keeps him involved in campus activities.

Stephany is a sophomore at NMU and is studying Applied Behavior Analysis with a minor in Human Service. She is a first-generation college student that is originally from Grayslake, Illinois. In her free time, Stephany likes to take pictures, go hiking, and play rugby for NMU’s club team.

Hannah is a Sophomore majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. She's also a first-generation student from Warren, Michigan. She hopes to be a Psychologist who works with At-Risk Youth and helps those in need. In her spare time, she enjoys singing in Northern Lights A Cappella, listening to music, and watching movies and adventuring with her friends.

Liz is a Senior double majoring in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Biology with a concentration in Microbiology. She is from Rochester, MN. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family.
