**ALLIES Scholarship**

Students who, through leadership, support or involvement in organizations, activities or issues that promote awareness and acceptance of the lesbian/gay/bi-sexual/transgender/queer/plus (LGBTQ+) community at Northern Michigan University, may apply for the ALLIES Scholarship. Applicants must provide a written statement (1000 words), documenting there experiences. The $500 minimum scholarship will be split between two semesters.

Q+A - Queers and Allies Social Club

Associate Professor Chet DeFonso is advisor for this student organization. Q+A meetings are held Wednesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. in the Cadillac Room of the University Center.
