Student organizations at Northern Michigan University are student-led and organized. While student organizations sometimes receive access to university facilities or other benefits, they are independent and solely responsible for publications and activities. Unless student organizations violate NMU policies or the code of conduct, the university does not interfere with these organizations. Further, the university disclaims any responsibility or liability for any representations or acts of student organizations.
