NMU Senior Art Exhibit Opens April 16

            MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University’s DeVos Art Museum will host the winter semester senior exhibition titled “Zeitgeist” April 16-May 2.  A closing reception and awards ceremony is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 2.  

            Seventy students from all majors within the School of Art and Design will present projects from their senior exhibition course. The displays will feature a variety of work from media including ceramics, drawing, digital cinema, furniture design, graphic communication, human centered design, illustration, photography, printmaking, sculpture and woodworking.

            Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1-4 p.m. weekends.
