MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning presents a free display of Naciementos and a program on Las Posadas at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16.

Naciementos is the Spanish term for artistic depictions of the Christmas story. Nearly 100 nativity sets from the Southwest United States and South America will be on display. A program about Las Posadas, the celebration that runs Dec. 16-24, will also be presented.

The display will be at the home of NCLL member Carol Margrif, who has collected nearly 300 nativities made of different media and including other countries’ depictions. Her home is located at 128 Timberlane.

There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required by Dec. 9. Contact Margrif at 249-9975.
