Northern Michigan University will offer two evening culinary workshops that are open to the public. Each is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. in room 212 of the Jacobetti Center. Soups and sauces will be held on Wednesday, July 22. A barbeque workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 29. NMU Professor Chris Kibit will lead the sessions, which begin with a half-hour introduction. The bulk of the time will be devoted to hands-on preparation, followed by an opportunity for participants to eat the foods they prepare.
