The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning (NCLL) will offer a tour of a farm that raises bison and sells related meat products. The tour will be held rain or shine on Saturday, July 12. Participants can meet either in the east parking lot of the Berry Events Center at 9:30 a.m. or in the parking lot of Jack’s SuperServ in Harvey at 9:45 a.m. The event ends at 12:30 p.m.   

            Robert and Jerri Haglund, owners of Beaver Bison, will lead the tour. The bison meat is processed in a USDA-approved facility in the Upper Peninsula and is available at the Marquette Food Co-op. The cost is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members.
