            MARQUETTE – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning is offering four writing sessions from 10-11:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on the following Tuesdays: Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 11 and Nov. 18.

            Helen Haskell Remien will lead the sessions. Participants will experiment with a variety of writing/creativity exercises that will help bring their memories and stories into focus and will get their creative juices flowing. They will also learn ways to polish and organize these writings.

            The cost is $16 for NCLL members and $28 for nonmembers. Participants should bring a journal and pen or pencil. The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 24. To register or for more information, call Shirley LaBonte at 906-228-6666.
