Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  MARQUETTE – In conjunction with the Holocaust Awareness Project, a panel discussion about genocide will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Whitman Hall Commons Area at Northern Michigan University.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  Participating on the panel will be NMU professors Mohey Mowafy, Jaspal Singh and John Vickers. NMU senior Journey Steward will moderate the discussion.

 Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  “Dr. Mowafy will discuss the current situation in Sudan, Dr. Singh will discuss genocide in Gujarat and Lt. Col. Vickers will talk about the U.S. militaryÂ’s role in preventing current genocide,” said Steward.  “Each speaker will offer their views and there will be a time at the end for questions from the audience.”
