During the week, we will be having homestays with local families, get a chance to learn the history of the Inca civilization, and as a culminating experience, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu, which is a UNESCO World-Heritage Site.

Finish out the school year with an 18-day service learning adventure in India! Choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities in rural Himalayan villages. We work with IDEX, an international service learning organization, on projects that include teaching in schools, assisting with home health visits, working in day care centers, providing education in orphanages, assisting with women's empowerment projects, and public facility renovations. While in India we will also visit the Taj Mahal, a memorial to Gandhi, the Dalai Lama’s Temple and more. The adventure will conclude with a couple days on the world famous beaches of Goa.
