What do you do in the International Programs office?
I teach the Listening & Speaking and Reading & Writing courses for the ELI program.
What are your favorite things to do in Marquette?
My husband and I love trying new restaurants in Marquette, visiting Presque Isle, attending theater productions and other NMU events, and trying to catch the Northern Lights.
Describe yourself in one word.
What do you like most about your job at NMU?
I love having the opportunity to not only teach students from other cultures and walks of life, but also to learn from them and understand their culture and background. Every person as a story, and each story helps us understand the world a little better. I am fortunate to have such a great job that allows me to interact with many different kinds of people every day.
What is one interesting fact about you?
I was homeschooled for middle school and high school.
