These are international experiences offered directly through Northern Michigan University and include academic and experiential programming that occur outside of the United States.

The International Education Services office provides structure and direction for programs approved as offerings. IES staff serve as your partner in enriching the educational experience for students enrolled in your Study Abroad program You can count on support for all phases, from the initial site assessment and host country contacts, through budgeting, travel-related contracts, student recruitment, and pre-departure orientation. We will also assist you in planning effective strategies for risk management and emergency preparedness.
