NMU Grounds Department staff will remove snow from the residence hall and on-campus apartment parking lots. Vehicles must be removed from designated lots by 11:00 p.m. each Friday prior to the Saturday listed on the schedule to avoide a $25 parking ticket. Students who park in one of the lots scheduled for snow removal must park in any available space in any of the alternate parking lots on Friday night and Saturday until the snow removal has been completed.
To facilitate snow removal on the adjacent sidewalks, it is also important that personal the personal property of apartment tenants be kept off of the sidewalks and out of the way of snow removal plows and equipment.
