Course Description

GC 428 Spatial Analysis 4 cr.

  • Prerequisite: GC 335 or GC 425

Examines the characteristics of spatial data to foster an understanding of their collection and management. The application of appropriate quantitative and cartographic tools for the analysis of geographic and planning problems is emphasized.

Note: Graduate students taking 400-level geography courses will be required to write a paper or complete an independent research project.
