Judge Timothy P. Greeley graduated with honors from Western Michigan University in 1976 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wayne State University Law School in 1980. Before becoming a federal judge, he served as a clerk for Judge Phillip Pratt in the Eastern District of the United States District Court. He later worked at the law firm of Foster, Swift, Collins and Coey in Lansing. In January 1988, Judge Greeley was appointed an United States Magistrate judge, making him the youngest magistrate judge at that time. Judge Greeley was past editor of the Wayne State University Law Review and served as chairperson for the 1989 Trial Skills Workshop, a training program for lawyers.Here Comes the Judge...
