Information for ALL degree candidates
The commencement ceremonies for all degree candidates will be on:
- Saturday of each the fall or spring semester's final exam week
- 10:30 a.m.
- Superior Dome
- Commencement ceremony will last about 2 hours
You must register for graduation whether you want to participate in the commencement ceremony or not. To register for graduation, add the graduation course when adding your final semester classes (Section 01-Walking or Section 02-No Ceremony) no later than the fourth calendar day of the semester. On-line registration for graduation closes on the first Thursday of the semester. If you decide later in the semester that you want to graduate that semester, you must complete a Graduation, Request to Add form. There are unique registration codes for those who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony and for those who do not. If you did not receive a final degree evaluation and plan to graduate, contact the Degree Evaluations Office. August graduates may also participate in May Commencement if completing requirements during the summer.
All students will be assessed a non-refundable $40 graduation processing charge for each degree awarded.
If you have restricted information such as your name, you cannot participate in the ceremony and your name will not be printed in the commencement program. You must contact the Degree Evaluations Office, 2202 Hedgcock, in order to make your information available for the commencement ceremony.
