Course Description
HON 301 World Cultures: A Humanities Perspective 4 cr.
- Offered: Fall, Winter
- Applies toward the social responsibility in a diverse world (socr) general education requirement.
- Applies toward the world cultures university requirement (wc).
- Prerequisite: Junior standing and enrollment in the honors program or NMU GPA greater than or equal to 3.0.
Critical reading and comparative analysis will be used to explore a non-western European culture from a humanities perspective. The discipline through which a specific culture and its people are explored will vary with faculty expertise.
