Course Description

    BI 305 Ecology of the Northern Forest 4 cr. (3-0-3)

    Study of the interactions of physical features, vegetation, animal life and human influences in the northern forests of North America, Europe and Asia through lectures, laboratories and field trips. Special emphasis is placed on forest ecosystems of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

    Note: May not be applied toward any major in biology. Field work may be required. Contact instructor for more information.
