PSY 201 Psychological Research I: Statistical Applications 4 cr. (3-0-2)

- Applies toward the quantitative reasoning and analysis (quar) general education requirement.
- Applies toward the mathematics competency university requirement (math) general education requirement.
- Prerequisite: PSY 100 or PSY 101.
The interpretation and application of basic descriptive statistics and an introduction to statistical inference, including correlations, chi square, and analysis of variance. Includes coverage of basic research designs. Statistical software used for computation work as a laboratory experience.
