NU 331 Nursing Care of Children/Adolescents (Theory) 4 cr. (4-0-0)

- Co-requisite: NU 005 Pediatric, NU 321/322, NU 332, NU 341.
- Prerequisite: NU 301/302, AH 102.
Focus on the nursing care of children and family units ranging from infancy through adolescence. The information from AH 102 Growth and Development will be used as a basis for course content on the pediatric population. The foundations of pediatric care, including growth and development, family theory, anticipatory guidance and care of the child with simple and complex health care needs are presented.
Note: Winter 2019 this course will change from 4 to 3 credits.
