Early Intensive - Language Learning

Early Intensive Language Learning Program:

The EI-LL Program is designed to help pre-school aged children develop language learning skills and basic school readiness behaviors.  The program focuses on establishing foundational language skills (e.g. requesting, labeling, responding to directions, responding with language, and responding to visual stimuli), as well as promoting basic social skills (e.g. turn-taking, sharing, cooperative play, etc.).  The program also provides basic behavioral supports for reducing stereotypy, perseverative or repetitive behaviors, non-cooperation, and low intensity self-injurious behaviors or aggressive behaviors.  The EI-LL program is an in-center program that provides up to 10 hours of one-on-one therapy per week, and utilizes a combination of discrete trial training and naturalistic training procedures.

Student and child in BEAR centerEI-LL services are conducted by behavior technicians and overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
