Types of church records and the amount of information found in them vary from denomination to denomination, but they can still be highly valuable to your genealogical research. They might give the ages of family members, birth, baptism, confirmation, marriage, death, and burial dates and information, and even the birthplaces of various family members or their previous and following parishes. The denomination of your ancestors can also provide clues as to where they originally came from.
