Learn more about NMU

If you're just starting the information-gathering phase of the college search, a great place to start is our website for prospective students. This site provides details about Northern Michigan University's academics, student life, cost and more. You can also request information, if you'd like to receive information in the mail about your child's academic interests.

Visit campus

Often the best way to feel sure about a college is to spend time walking around campus and getting your questions answered in person. At Northern, we have two helpful ways to schedule visits. Wildcat Weekend is an open house designed for high school students and their parents. Learn more. If you can't make one of our Wildcat Weekend dates, you can also schedule an individualized visit at a time that is convenient for you. Learn more.

Connect with our staff that is located near you
