Aug. 1 Last Day for Reduced Tickets

Time is running out to purchase reduced-price advance tickets for the U.S. Short Track Speedskating Olympic Team Trials Sept. 8-12 at the Berry Events Center. The cost will increase 25 percent after Aug. 1.

The Olympic Trials will give spectators the opportunity to watch the country’s elite short track speedskaters compete for the right to represent the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.            

Adult all-event passes are $28 and student/child passes are $18 through Aug.1. This will give spectators access to all four days of competition for the Olympic Trials. After Aug. 1, prices will increase to $35 for adults and $22 students for an all-event pass.            

Single day tickets, currently $12 for adults and $7 for student/child, will increase to $15 and $9.The all-event combo pass, which grants access to each day of competition for both the Olympic Trials and the World Cup event in November, also will increase from $50 to $62 for adults and from $30 to $37 for students/children. Tickets for only the ISU World Cup will remain discounted until Oct. 1.            

A limited number of VIP packages are also available. Packages include preferred seating, access to meals and refreshments in the Wildcat VIP Lounge and special event merchandise. VIP packages can be reserved by calling ext. 2888.
