Timothy Compton (Modern Languages and Literatures) recently published his translation of renowned Mexican novelist Ignacio Solares' novel NoHay Tal Lugar under the title There Is No Such Place with AuthorHouse Publishing. Set in the remote mountains of northern Mexico, the novel portrays a unique utopia headed by a maverick Jesuit priest, in which his unusual Christianity blends with ancient customs and beliefs drawn from the local Tarahumara Indians.
