Steven Burn (English) published an essay titled “The Collapse of Everything: William Gaddis and the Encyclopedic Novel” in Paper Empire: William Gaddis and the World System. He also reviewed three David Markson novels in the Times Literary Supplement.

 

Beverly Matherne (English) published three poems in French Connections: A Gathering of Franco-American Poets. The Louisiana Literature Press published the anthology of 32 poets.

 

Kia Richmond (English) published a book chapter in Closing the Gap: English Educators Address the Tensions Between Teacher Preparation and Teaching Writing in Secondary Schools. She also co-authored an essay titled “Composition Studies/English Education Connections” for the September issue of The Writing Instructor.

 

John Smolens (English) published an article titled “Build a Bridge to the Past” for the August issue of The Writer. The article dealt with writing historical fiction.

Gary Stark (Business) published "Driven: How Human Nature Shapes our Choices," a condensed version of the book by the same name, in The Manager’s Bookshelf: A Mosaic of Contemporary Views (8th ed., pp. 131-136).        

 

Robert Whalen’s (English) monograph, originally published in 2002, was selected to be re-published in digital format for the Toronto Press. His monograph is in the book The Poetry of Immanence.
