The College of Technology and Applied Sciences is dedicated to providing quality instruction to students in diploma, certificate, associate, baccalaureate and master's degrees as well as those seeking vocational certifications.  Faculty and staff within the college are committed to developing or enhancing the student’s personal and professional potential. The college provides students with academic and vocational skill assessment, advisement, occupational career counseling, and information and assistance in securing employment opportunities.

The college provides opportunities for continuing personal development for those already employed in their occupational specialties. It assists in facilitating the research and development of new products and ideas and also provides in-service and workshop activities for faculty, educators, and business and industry from the community and region.

  • Located in the Jacobetti Center, the facility for the aviation program has state-of-the-art laboratories that meet or exceed all FAA and airline requirements for the certificate and associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology.

  • Students graduating with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology and those graduating with an Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology have 100% job placement upon graduation.

  • Practical experience is an important part of the Culinary Arts, Food Service Management and Hospitality Management Programs. Students get hands-on experience running the Chez Nous cafeteria and restaurant serving gourmet meals to both the campus community and the general public.

  • The Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology is accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology. Graduates of this program have a well-rounded background in supervision, quality control and industrial safety along with support courses. Students choose a minor from several choices. Industrial Technology graduates have many career options and enjoy good job placement.

  • Students in the Technology and Occupational Sciences Department are provided the opportunity to take certification and licensing examinations in auto services, collision repair, cosmetology, heating and air conditioning, construction, and welding.
