End of life - who decides when you die?
Ethical choices at the end of life will be the discussion topic at the next Your Health lecture at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at Reynolds Recital Hall. Tom Tomlinson, Ph.D., professor and director of the MSU Center for Ethics and the Humanities in the Life Sciences, will explore these issues and offer guidance in constructing an advance directive that avoids the pitfalls.

The 2012-2013 series kicked off with “Is It Just a Cough or Lung Disease?” The presentation by Dr. William Wadland, chair of MSU’s Department of Family Medicine, was given on Thursday, Oct. 11 in the Reynolds Recital Hall. Attendees learned about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which is one of the most common lung diseases and is often caused by smoking or other lung irritants. View presentation.
