MISSION

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to effectively identify, organize and communicate the work life needs of the University community in concert with the overall mission of Northern Michigan University. The achievement of common purposes requires common guidelines for Human Resources and Payroll decisions to ensure that all employees may enjoy a degree of certainty as to how they will be treated under varying circumstances whether prescribed by contract negotiation, statute or administrative policy.
