PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for the consistent implementation of summer flextime hours at Northern Michigan University.
APPLICABILITY
All staff less AFSCME.
POLICY
Summer flextime hours scheduling will begin on the first Monday following the Winter Semester Commencement and will end on the Friday immediately following the week of "Orientation of New Students" according to the Academic Calendar.
University offices are to be open and staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wherever possible, offices should make every effort to be open during the lunch hour (12 noon to 1 p.m.).
This Policy will be communicated to all University departments by April of each year.
