MANDATORY RUBEOLA (MEASLES) IMMUNIZATION

PURPOSE

To prevent the morbidity and mortality associated with this highly contagious illness, and to prevent the disruption to campus activities which might occur in the event of an outbreak of rubeola on campus.

APPLICABILITY

Students.

POLICY

All new and reentry students registered for on-campus classes and born after 1956 are required to provide proof of immunity against rubeola.
