Job Opportunities

Upward Bound hires NMU students to tutor program participants in various subjects. Upward Bound Math-Science

Upward Bound Math-Science is offered on NMU's campus. It exposes students to a variety of career fields, improves their problem-solving skills and enriches their appreciation for science and mathematics. More information

Apply to Upward Bound
Students are eligible to participate in the Upward Bound program if they are in the 9th or 10th grade, their family meets the federal income guidelines and neither parent completed a four-year college degree. The program is offered to students enrolled in Marquette Senior High School, Negaunee High School, Ishpeming High School and Westwood High School.
