The Culinary Café is dedicated to providing customers with inexpensive, quality food. It is among three of the Technology and Occupational Sciences department's primary student-based services. All first-year hospitality management students are required to undergo the necessary training and hands-on experience in preparing quality foods within this busy café setting.
The Café offers breakfast and lunch to students, staff, faculty and members of the community at reasonable costs and, therefore, receives a significant amount of traffic on a daily basis.
Students within the Culinary Café work closely with Professors Deborah Pearce (fall semester) and Christopher Kibit (winter semester) to offer diverse foods in a traditional café setting while learning to prepare foods, serve guests and properly maintain a kitchen setting.
