Hospitality Management Fundraiser Gala

“L’Italia, Mangi, Respire, Sperimenti” or “Italy, Eat, Breath, Experience” was the title and motif of this year’s hospitality management fundraiser, designed to build toward a scholarship that will fund studies abroad for students in the hospitality management program. 

“The event was well-attended,” said faculty member Deb Pearce, “and we were able to raise several thousand dollars for this new initiative.” 

“The class that worked on this event was a part of an Academic Service Learning course, which allowed these students to gain firsthand experience with not only a large banquet but a fundraising event as well,” said Pearce.

“It was a gala event, and good times were had by all.”
