Hospitality Management Program

Adjunct Instructor

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses as scheduled each academic semester
  • Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, quizzes, and exams to meet course requirements
  • Provide support to students in and outside of class
  • Work with other Hospitality Management faculty to maintain a cohesive program
  • Grade all student work as necessary
  • Meet all classes for scheduled days and times
  • Submit grades as per university policy
  • Other tasks as directed by lead faculty and/or the department head

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the Hospitality Management industry

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching experience
  • Associates Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field

Salary: $921 per credit hour.  Compensation for a four credit class = $3,684

Employment Date: August 2013

Conditions of Employment: Contract by semester – Fall Semester 2013 and Winter Semester 2014
