Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Graduates are employed as HVAC technicians, apprentice and/or journeymen mechanics, installer/service technicians, sales/estimators, wholesalers, and shop fabricators by fuel oil dealers, refrigeration and air conditioning service companies, repair shops, HVACR retail stores, local and federal governments, hospitals, schools, sports arenas, theaters, grocery stores, shopping malls, office buildings, and industrial plants.
For students interested in pursuing a degree beyond the certificate, the credits earned in the certificate program are transferable to the associate degree program in climate control technology with minimal loss of credit.
