Graduates are employed as maintenance technicians and/or aircraft mechanics by major/commuter airlines, corporate aviation groups, and the manufacturing industry. Some are self-employed, while others are hired by the federal government or armed forces.
For students interested in pursuing a degree beyond the associate, the credits earned in the associate degree are transferable to the baccalaureate degree program in technology and applied sciences with some loss of credit.
Graduates from this program are employed nationwide as licensed A&P technicians.
For students interested in pursuing a degree beyond the certificate, the credits earned in the certificate program are transferable to the associate degree program in aviation maintenance technology with no loss of credit.
