Where is the NMU Ticket Office located? The main ticket office is located within the Superior Dome’s southwest entrance on Northern Michigan University’s campus.
Are there other NMU ticket outlets available? There are two ticket outlets available in the city of Marquette: NMU Bookstore (located in the NMU University Center) and Forest Roberts Theatre.
How may I order tickets? You can order tickets by either stopping in at any NMU ticket outlet, over the phone (906-227-1032) or on our Web site (www.nmu.edu/tickets).
Is there a fee to order tickets over the phone or online? To order tickets over the phone, there is a $1.75 per ticket handling charge up to $15. If you would like to order tickets online, there is a $1.50-$3.50 per ticket handling charge – no maximum.
How do I order tickets online? Once you are at the ordering screen, you will need to either create an account or log in. After logging in, you can select the date of the event or search for the event by keyword. Once you have found the event, click the button by the event name. Next, enter the quantity of seats that you would like to order and click the “add to cart” button. Then, if the event is reserved seating the computer will pick seats for you. If you choose not to get the selected seats, then you must unselect them before you can choose your own seats. After selecting your seats, choose your method of delivery. (Please note that tickets ordered within the week of an event will be placed in Will Call for you to pick up at the event.) Next, you will be asked for your credit card information for payment. Lastly, you should receive a confirmation number. If for some reason you do not receive a confirmation number, the order has not gone through and you will not receive any tickets. How can I pay for my tickets? When paying for tickets in person, you may pay by cash, check (made out to NMU) or by credit card. We take Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards only. Ordering tickets over the phone or online must be paid by credit card only.
How do I receive my tickets? If ordering them over the phone or online, you can have your tickets mailed directly to you or placed in Will Call. If you order tickets the week of an event, your tickets will automatically be placed in Will Call for that event. Also, if you choose to, you may come in and pick them up personally from the Superior Dome Ticket Office.
What is Will Call? Will Call is where you pick up your tickets, which are being held for you, the day of the event.
Where is Will Call located? Depending on the building, football Will Call is located in the northeast entrance to the Superior Dome. Basketball or hockey Will Call is located at the front entrance of the Berry Event Center at the ticket windows. Volleyball Will Call is located in the link entrance ticket windows, which is between the Berry Event Center and the P.E.I.F. Buildings. You will be asked to present a picture ID and provide a signature to acquire your tickets.
When are the ticket windows open for an event? The ticket windows open one hour prior to an event. The exception to this is the day of a hockey game, when a ticket window at the Berry Events Center is open from noon through the game for your convenience.
Is there handicap seating available? All of our venues have designated seating for people needing assistance. Please contact the ticket office for more information at 906-227-1032. For seating needs at the Forest Roberts Theatre, please call 906-227-2082.
Are there any group rates? Group rates are available for all ticketed NMU athletic events. Groups of 20 or more may enjoy a reduced rate ticket to get into an event. Please see the group rates section for more details and for the forms to fill out. You may also call 906-227-2839 for assistance.
May I exchange my tickets? You may exchange your tickets for the same event on a different night or time, however, there is a $2 per ticket charge to do so.
How do I get a refund on my tickets? Unless the event is cancelled there are no refunds given. Arrangements will be made for refunds if there is a cancellation of an event.
At what age do children need a ticket? For NMU football, basketball or volleyball games, children six and under get in free. Children two and under get in free to hockey and must sit on the lap of an adult. Any event that is reserved seating will require a child’s ticket unless otherwise specified.
Are there any discounts available? We are happy to announce that there is now a senior rate, 60 years of age or older, available for all single game NMU athletic events. There are family packs available for football, volleyball, basketball and hockey that make it affordable for the whole family. There are also discounts on student and season tickets. How do I order new season tickets? Season ticket subscriptions and packages are not available online. This must be done in person at the Superior Dome ticket office location. While at the Superior Dome ticket office, you will be able to select the subscriptions of your choice, select your seats and take your tickets with you (unless pre-ordering tickets that are not yet available).
When do season ticket renewals go out to ticket holders? Marquette Symphony and Forest Roberts Theatre season renewals will go out around the first of June. NMU athletic/club season renewals will go out around the middle of July.
What happens if I decide not to renew my season tickets? Please send back your renewal form or call the Superior Dome ticket office and let us know that you will not be renewing your tickets. We will then release your seats and make them available to the public. We will also release your seats if you do not meet the renewal deadline.
Why is there a renewal deadline? Athletic season ticket holders are eligible to renew existing seats provided they renew by the August 30 deadline. The deadline enables the ticket office to review seats available for relocation and which seats can be sold to new season ticket holders.
What happens if I want to change my season seat? Contact the Superior Dome ticket office or make note on your renewal bill. We will then try to do our best to get the seats that you requested. We can only choose from the ones that are available. If your season tickets are printed already, there is a $4 charge to reprint the tickets with the new seat information.
When do single game hockey tickets go on sale? Single game hockey tickets go on sale the third week of September.
