ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification
The School of Technology and Applied Sciences offers this training in response to the amended Michigan Food Law of 2000, requiring that beginning June 30, 2009, food establishments shall employ at least 1 certified managerial employee.
ServSafe® was developed by the National Restaurant Association and is a respected training and education program throughout the State of Michigan. It meets the criteria of the American national standards institute as mandated by Michigan’s legislation.
