Spotlight on...Jordan Paquet
Jordan Paquet is a junior from Negaunee, Michigan, majoring in public relations and minoring in electronic journalism. He is the Special Events Coordinator (coordinates Homecoming and WinterFest) in the Center for Student Enrichment, vice president of Northern Arts and Entertainment, chapter president of NMU's Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), and will be PRSSA's national vice president of members services beginning this June. Jordan is also a member of the Student Leader Fellowship Program, Superior Edge, and Mortar Board. He has logged over 700 hours and is very close to completing all of the edges.
When asked about his favorite activity logged, Jordan replied, “International volunteerism with over 1,500 teenagers from around the country of Norway and being a part of a week-long camp focusing on winter sports activities on the grounds of the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.”
When it came to his favorite thing about Superior Edge, Jordan replied, “It’s a great way to keep track of everything you are doing while at Northern. When I leave the university, having that extra distinction will set me apart from the other resumes.”
Congratulations, Jordan! Keep up the great work!
