Leann Herrmann has recently completed the Citizenship, Leadership, Real World Edges! Originally from Batavia, Illinois, Leann is a junior majoring in psychology with a minor in biology. She is also a Resident Adviser in Payne Hall.
Leann has been very involved on- and off-campus and has logged over 435 hours participating in various activities such as Relay for Life, ASNMU, Make a Difference Day, working in a hospital, and many Resident Adviser training activities.
Of all her activities, Leann states that her favorite activity was having the opportunity to shadow a physician’s assistant. She says, “I have seen a day in the life of a physician's assistant and seen the interaction with patients, and I can't wait for my time to come in the medical field.”
To complete the Diversity Edge, Leann has plans to travel to Tanzania, Africa in May for a three-week medical internship!
