Academic Support Services

Student Support Services provides comprehensive tutoring services for the freshman through senior level student. Tutors assist incoming students with developing effective study, test taking and time-management skills. Specialized tutors address specific academic subjects. Study and supplemental instruction groups are available for courses that commonly challenge all NMU students.

The Student Support Services academic support programs are certified at the master's level by the College Reading and Learning Association.
