The Student Service Center was established to create a one-stop office where students can address a variety of issues. Students can receive many services and get answers to a wide range of questions about payments, registration, housing and financial aid, among other things.

Key Dates

December 8 - Winter 2018 tuition bills available for viewing on ebill

December 8 - Winter 2018 payment plans available for viewing on ebill

December 9 - Last day of fall semester

December 10-16 - Examination period

December 16 - Commencement

December 19 - Final grades due from faculty

January 5 - Winter tuition and fees due

January 15 - Martin Luther King Day Observance-no classes

January 16 - Winter semester begins

March 3 - Midsemester recess begins at 5:00 p.m.

March 12 - Classes resume

March 1 is the suggested due date for the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Even though there is no official deadline at the federal level to apply for aid, students applying for aid through the State of Michigan must submit their FAFSA by March 1 to remain eligible for state aid.


  • NMU does not send paper bills. Instead bills can be viewed and paid electronically on E-Bill. Parents can access E-Bill after a student has granted them access as an authorized user. Choose a link to access E-Bill.
