
Greco-Roman wrestlers Parker Betts, Joe DeNova and Arthur Carmona won their weight divisions this weekend (May 10) at the Northern Plains Regionals in Waterloo, Iowa. Their victories qualified them to compete in the World Team Trials in Stillwater, Okla., June 20-23.

Athletes from both the Greco-Roman wrestling and weightlifting teams continued a long-standing tradition this past Saturday (April 27). Each spring athletes help the city of Marquette with its spring clean-up by picking up litter along Lakeshore Boulevard by the Superior Dome. For more photos, please visit our facebook page.
The fourth annual Curby Cup is slated to take place on Saturday, May 11 in LaGarange, Ill. The event is held in honor of the late Jacob Curby, a USOEC Greco-Roman team member who unexpectedly passed away at the age of 25 in January 2010.
Members of Team USA will compete against Hungary, Lithuania and Serbia. Wrestling clinics will also be held. Athletes from the USOEC squad will once again assist in coaching the clinics.
