Mike Fields has worked for Northern Michigan University's United States
Olympic Education Center since Oct. 1992 and was named Assistant Director
in June 1998.

Fields oversees daily operations including finance, academics and personnel matters.

Fields received a bachelor's degree in sports management from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in health physical education and recreation from Emporia State University.  Fields has coached football for the Pop Warner organization and high schools in Kansas and Michigan. He has also played football and tennis on the high school and collegiate level.

A native of Kansas, Fields enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors with his family in his spare time.
