Volleyball

The Women’s Club Volleyball team is looking for interested individuals that have prior playing experience and would like to be a part of the new club volleyball team at Northern! The club is actively seeking members who can commit to a few practices a week, and might be interested in playing in a few tournaments during winter semester. As the club grows, we will be adding more games and tournaments.

Dues
Team dues are not yet determined. At first, participation will be free for attending practices, but as we look into traveling to tournaments and games, we will require team members to help cover the costs of traveling, registration fees, etc.

Participants Must Supply:
Kneepads, athletic attire for practices, non-marking shoes

Travel
As a club, we will be looking into tournaments and games we can play in the future. In the past, NMU club volleyball has played at tournaments at the University of Michigan, Michigan State, UW Madison, Marquette University and the University of Minnesota, and played games against Michigan Tech.

Eligibility
Members must be full-time students at NMU. Additional specific eligibility requirements may be added by the new members as they work to create a team constitution. These might include GPA requirements, paying dues, etc.
